Our custom designed racks for upright freezers are based on either our Standard rack side opening rack or our Comfort rack with sliding shelves.

Tray
SAMPLE TRAYS AND BINS FOR UPRIGHT FREEZERS

TENAK manufacturers two different types of trays. The single tray is a drawer with a lid and a handle on the front. The double tray is basically the same only with two drawers instead. Both trays are ideal for odd size samples.

FREEZER RACK ACCESSORIES

We have developed a few products for use with standard racks either from TENAK or any other rack manufacturer.
SAFTY SPRING LOCK
Our Unique Safety Spring lock is an accessory which locks the cryoboxes in possition in the racks.
CLIP ON HOLDER
Our Clip on holder is basically a label holder on which you can write information about the samples.
RACK COUPLING
Our rack coupling is designed for applications where the user wishes to stack racks in a chest freezer.

CRYOBOXES

ENAK manufacture high quality cryoboxes in cardboard, polypropylene and polycarbonate. As standard we offer our cardboard cryoboxes in 5 different heights with footprints from 133x133 to 136x136mm. with a large range of grid dividers. TENAK can custom make any cryobox in cardboard in any dimension that the costumer may require, even with the customers own design printed on it. Our cryoboxes in polypropylene and polycarbonate are autoclavable and have cellcodes/index printed on the lid for easy identification.
CRYOBOXES 133X133
Cryoboxes made of water repellent cardboard for longer durability. The boxes are offered in 5 different heights, 32, 50, 75, 100 and 130 mm.
CRYOBOXES 136X136
The boxes are made of fibreboard/cardboard and are water-repellent for longer durability. Offered in 5 different heights, 32, 50, 75, 100 and 130 mm.
ORIGAMI CRYOBOXES
TENAK Origami is a new developed cryobox concept. The Origami box consists of a lid and a bottom which is delivered "Plano".

Classic Steel Rack
CLASSIC STEEL RACK FOR CRYOGENIC FREEZERS

The racks come with a locking rod to secure the cryoboxes. The racks are made of stainless steel. These racks are for standard sized boxes with 9x9 and 10x10 cell dividers with a max. footprint of 133x133 mm and a height of 54 mm.

Comfort Steel Rack
COMFORT STEEL RACK FOR CRYOGENIC FREEZERS

The racks have spring locks mounded on each shelf to secure the cryoboxes. These racks can be used with most standard height cryoboxes in cardboard and polycarbonate. The racks are made of stainless steel. These racks are for standard sized boxes with 9x9 and 10x10 cell dividers with a max. footprint of 133x133 mm and a height of 54 mm.

Rack For Goblet
RACK FOR GOBLET - LN2 FREEZERS

This rack is for use in cryogenic LN2 freezers. This rack is made for standard 65 mm goblets with a height of 125 mm. The goblet holds between 50 and 70 straws. Two springs per shelf secure the goblet from slipping out. The rack has a label holder for easy identification of the samples and a grib lifter, which makes it easier to grab the rack when wearing cryogloves. The racks are for 2 to 5 goblets. The rack is made of stainless steel.

Custom Design
CUSTOM DESIGNED RACK FOR CHEST FREEZERS

At TENAK we can manufacture any rack you may require. Over the times we have made a lot of custom designed racks for our customers. Our custom designed racks for chest freezers are based on either our "Classic rack" which is with a locking rod or the "Comfort rack" which is with a safety spring lock (for boxes only), both to prevent the boxes from slipping out. To make a custom designed rack we need to have exact overall dimensions of the boxes or microtiterplates (MTP) which are to be used in the rack. Further more we need to know in which freezer brand and model the racks will be used. These informations will have to be confirmed by mail in order to prevent misunderstandings.
Racks for standard boxes
You may require a different rack than the standard ones for any cryobox with a footprint from 130x130 mm to 137x137 mm. For the chest freezer it means that number of shelves, shelf height and total height can be adjusted according to your specifications.
Racks for small squared boxes
You may have a smaller "than normal" box and in order to optimize the freezer capacity you need a custom made rack. We can make any rack based on the standard rack designs for boxes with a footprint of max. 130x130 mm.
Racks for large squared boxes
You may have a larger "than normal" box and you need a custom made rack. We can make any rack based on the standard rack designs for boxes with a footprint of min. 137x137 mm.

Tube Rack
TUBE RACK - ORIGAMI TUBERACK

TENAK has developed a new rack for test tubes ranging from a diameter from 7mm to 30mm. It is not only a new product it is also a new way of thinking design and functionality. Most important is that the Origami TubeRack is delivered flat-packed in order to reduce shipping cost and the storage space needed in the laboratory. The TubeRack is delivered in packs of 5 ready to assemble. The assembly is easy and can be done by anyone. The TubeRack is designed to be height adjustable which makes it very flexible and usable for almost any test tube on the market. Depending on the hole diameter the racks can be used for everything from microcentrifugetubes, cryovial, over vacutainers, to 15ml and 50ml falcon tubes.
